Monarch Conservation Farm is comprised of 12+ acres, in Silk Hope NC, devoted to providing habitat for native birds, fireflies, frogs, bees, butterflies and hundreds of other less known inhabitants of our ecosystem. Native trees, plants and sustainably managed farmland are foundations for ending wildlife food deserts. We'd like you to see how beautiful these plants, creatures and regeneration can be during the growing season (April-November). We also provide a hands-on example of how to grow small fruits and vegetables with positive environmental impacts and low inputs.
Vegetable, herb and flower transplants are available in April/May and September/October. 6-packs include native and cultivated flowers that are wildly popular with Monarchs and Goldfinches such as Echinacea, Tithonia and Zinnias and multiple varieties of tomatoes, Napa cabbage, lettuce, sweet peppers, artichokes, spinach, parsley, chard, basil, and dill.
